Week 23 - Re-drafting Music Magazine Contents Page

Emap Limited is a British media company, specialising in the production of business-to-business magazines, and the organisation of business events and conferences. The company was once a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index but is now owned by Apax and Guardian Media Group.

Emap recently reorganised their business' to investing in their products and people and are creating three separate operating companies, focussed on customer needs in separate market areas: Events and Festivals; Information Services and Publishing. Each is empowered to operate independently, with new leaders, new names, culture, and new distinct strategies.

I believe that Emap would distribute my magazine because they specialize in independently supporting business-to-business magazines.

As my target audience was men and women between the ages of 18-45 who are interested in music from different genre’s and different parts of the world.

Pop fans in the Phillipines

Reggae fans in Zimbabwe

Rock fans in Hungary

As my target audience was men and women between the ages of 18-45 who are interested in music from different genre’s and different parts of the world.

I feel I attracted my audience through providing them with what they would want.
