Week 19 - Music Double Page Spread Post Production

I feel that my media product followed the generic forms and conventions of real music magazines as it had all the usual features you would find on one. Headings, images, coverlines, usp, barcode etc.
I have used professional music magazines as an aid to guide me in the production of my own product.
I carried out extensive research on double page spreads within a music magazine.

I also read over some double page spreads that had already been analysed and saw if I as a reader of those particular double page spreads would be interested in being next week/months issue of that magazine based on what I had just read.

When using InDesign at this particular stage of my product I learnt that layers are very important.

Through my progression from my work in my preliminary task I feel I have been able to both refine and improve my skills when using InDesign. I can effectively use InDesign and know how to merge an image into a background.

As my skills have developed with using media technologies I find that my options are much more open in terms of how professional I can make my magazine look. For example creating a logo, forming different shapes, merging background colors into a fade etc.
